👋 Hi, I'm Wendell

I'm an IT student with a strong interest in backend engineering, DevSecOps, and cloud infrastructure.

I enjoy understanding how software works beyond writing application code — from designing APIs and databases to containerization, deployment pipelines, observability, and secure software practices.

Most of my projects are learning-driven and production-inspired. I enjoy documenting not only what I build, but also the reasoning, trade-offs, and lessons learned throughout the process.

🧠 Engineering Mindset

I enjoy understanding not only how systems work, but also why they are designed that way.

Software engineering is more than writing code — it involves making thoughtful trade-offs, documenting decisions, and continuously improving systems over time.

That's why many of my repositories include documentation, implementation notes, architectural decisions, and learning checkpoints alongside the source code.

🌱 Always Learning

I'm continuously exploring topics that strengthen my understanding of modern software engineering, including:

  • API Design
  • Database Design
  • Authentication & Authorization
  • CI/CD
  • Observability
  • Infrastructure Fundamentals
  • Secure Software Development
  • System Design

I believe the best way to learn these concepts is by building real projects, experimenting, making mistakes, and continuously improving.
